Issuance forecasts tell Isometric how many credits you expect to issue, and when. They help our team understand your sales pipeline, plan verification capacity, and gauge what you will have available against buyer demand. Forecasts are managed on the Forecasts page of your Registry account, available in the left-hand navigation of supplier accounts.
Forecasting is being rolled out to supplier accounts. If you do not see Forecasts in your account navigation, contact support@isometric.com to have it enabled. You need the Admin role (or higher) on your organization to create or update a forecast.

What you forecast against

Every forecast belongs to a single project. There are two channels, shown as tabs on the Forecasts page:
  • Certify projects. Projects that already exist in Certify. They appear automatically — forecasts can be created on them straight away.
  • Placeholder projects. Lightweight stand-ins for capacity that are not set up in Certify yet, so you can start forecasting early.
Both channels use the same forecast form, and both count towards your totals and charts.

What we ask for

  • Coverage of the next 24 months. Every period in the next 24 months needs a number, including periods where you expect to issue nothing — enter 0 for those. Periods beyond 24 months are optional but useful.
  • A forecast per project, kept up to date.

Add a project forecast

1

Open the Forecasts page

Go to the Forecasts page and select the Certify projects tab. Every non-demo Certify project you have access to is listed here.
2

Open the project's forecast

Click the project row to open its forecast form. If the project already has a forecast, the form opens pre-filled with the latest version.
3

Set the first certificate target

First certificate target is the date you expect the project’s first credits to be issued. Periods before this date are disabled in the grid, so you only forecast from the point issuance begins.
If the project has already had credits issued, this field is automatically updated to the date of that first issuance and cannot be changed.
4

Add an estimated price per tonne (optional)

Estimated price per tonne is indicative only, in USD.
5

Choose an issuance cadence

Pick Month, Quarter or Year to match the issuance cadence you want for the given project.
6

Fill in the forecast grid

Enter expected issuance in tonnes for each period:
  • Cells marked and shaded are required — they fall inside the next 24 months.
  • Cells marked are optional — they are beyond the 24-month window.
  • Hatched cells are in the past, or before your first certificate target, and cannot be edited.
  • Enter 0 for a period where you expect no issuance. A 0 is a deliberate “nothing expected” answer, which is different from leaving a cell empty.
Each row shows a yearly Total. A new blank year row appears automatically once you enter a figure in the last row, so you can forecast as far out as you want. You can move between cells with the arrow keys.
7

Save

Click Save. Saving creates a new version of the forecast, so your earlier submissions are preserved and the table always reflects the latest one.Your forecast must span at least 24 months from today, must not contain negative values, and the first certificate target must fall inside a period where you expect a non-zero issuance.
