Project data for registry listing, validation and verification is submitted by Suppliers centrally via Certify. The minimum requirements for data transparency is outlined in our Protocols and Modules. This page outlines the visibility of different categories of project data and the options available to suppliers to manage data visibility.
If you need to discuss a specific requirement related to project data privacy, please contact your assigned Registry Operations Manager with details of your requirements.

Supplier listings

  • Supplier listings are published to the Registry during onboarding of a Supplier after receipt of a Supplier Agreement. On request, publication of the listing may be postponed until the start of the public comment period for a Supplier’s first project.

Projects

  • On creation in Certify, a project is visible only to the Supplier organization and Isometric’s tech team.
  • On assignment of a Verifier to a project, the Verifier will have view access to the project title, supplier name and protocol details. Visibility of further project data is outlined in the sections below.
  • When a project enters the public comment period, it will be listed on the Isometric registry. Published data includes the project name, location, description, process diagram, protocol and Project Design Document (see below).

Project Design Documents

  • Draft Project Design Documents created in Certify are visible only to the Supplier and Isometric’s tech team.
  • On completion of the PDD pre-screen, all draft PDD content is shared with a project’s assigned Verifier.
  • A version of the PDD for publication, including any redactions required due to commercial confidentiality, is agreed between Isometric and the Supplier and published to the registry at the start of the project’s Public Comment Period.

Project LCAs

  • Draft project LCAs created in Certify are visible only to the Supplier and Isometric’s tech team.
  • On completion of the LCA pre-screen, the full draft LCA is shared with a project’s assigned Verifier.

Removal areas

  • Removal areas on draft projects are visible only to the Supplier and Isometric’s tech team.
  • On assignment of a Verifier to a project, removal areas will be viewable by the Verifier.
  • A Plot Overview for a project is published on the Registry when credits are issued. The Plot Overview shows the geometry of the removal area but does not show internal removal area boundaries or project latitude/longitude.

Measurement locations

  • Measurement locations on draft projects are visible only to the Supplier and Isometric’s tech team.
  • On assignment of a Verifier to a project, measurement locations will be viewable by the Verifier.
  • On credit issuance, relative measurement locations are shown on the public Plot Overview. Exact latitude and longitude data is not shared publicly.

Measurement samples

  • Measurement samples on draft projects are visible only to the Supplier and Isometric’s tech team.
  • On assignment of a Verifier to a project, measurement samples will be viewable by the Verifier.
  • On credit issuance, any individual sample datapoints that are used as inputs in a crediting calculation are shown in the removal calculation view.

Removal data

  • Draft removals that have not been submitted as a GHG statement are visible only to the Supplier and Isometric’s tech team.
  • On submission of a GHG statement, removal data is made available to the assigned Verifier for the project as part of the GHG statement data.
  • On credit issuance, the calculation view and datapoints supporting an individual removal are published to the Isometric registry

Source files

  • Source files can be set to one of two visibility statuses: public or non-public.
  • Sources on draft removals or GHG statements are visible only to the Supplier and Isometric’s tech team.
  • All source files included in a submitted GHG statement are visible to the Verifier assigned to the project.
  • Public source files that are attached to a datapoint in a credited GHG statement will be available to view or download by the public via the Isometric registry.
  • Non-public source files attached to datapoints included in a credited GHG statement are listed on the registry. Source filenames are visible while the file contents are not.
