# Certify and data FAQs

> Answers on whether third-party dMRV is mandatory, how to become a listed dMRV partner, how to build a test integration, the three routes for getting data into Certify, PDD and LCA templates, and the AI review agent

> [!NOTE]
>
> In all cases, guidance provided in the [Isometric Standard](https://registry.isometric.com/standard), [Protocols](https://registry.isometric.com/protocols) and [Modules](https://registry.isometric.com/modules) is authoritative.

## How do I get data into Certify?

There are three routes:

1. Directly through the Certify interface via input forms or bulk data uploads (e.g. CSV)
2. Through an API integration from your internal reporting systems
3. Via a [third-party dMRV platform with an existing Certify integration](https://isometric.com/partners)

## Is there a PDD or LCA template I can work from outside the platform?

The Project Design and LCA structure depends on the protocol and module selected by the project so there is no single standalone template.

We recommend setting up a free Certify trial account and creating a draft project to see all the [project design requirements](https://docs.isometric.com/user-guides/certify/project-design.md). The Project Design requirements (or requirements for other project assets such as Feedstocks) can then be exported to review offline.

## How do I use the AI review agent (Remi)?

Isometric’s AI review tool is called Remi. Any drafted submissions on a Project Design or other project asset for Validation can be reviewed in real time where the “Run Remi Review” button is shown.

Run it on your drafted submissions before you submit them. See [PDD quality best practice](https://docs.isometric.com/support/validation-and-verification/pdd-quality-best-practice.md).

## Is third-party dMRV required?

Third-party digital MRV (dMRV) is not required, but many dMRV providers offer streamlined integrations with Certify to enable batch submission of project data at the end of each reporting period.

dMRV providers with tested platform integrations are listed on our [Partners page](https://isometric.com/partners).

## How do I become listed as a dMRV partner?

We do not run a stand-alone technical approval process for new dMRV platforms. MRV processes and architecture are assessed as part of project pre-screen and Validation for any projects working with reporting and monitoring platforms. On a first successful Verification and credit issuance for a project using a new platform, we are happy to amend the [Partners page](https://isometric.com/partners) to add the platform logo.

## Can I build a test integration with my third-party platform?

Yes, Trial Certify accounts provide full access to the MRV APIs. We recommend registering a [trial account](https://isometric.com/certify) and using our [API documentation](https://docs.isometric.com/api-reference/introduction.md) to build out a pilot integration.

If you need support with discussing the integration or access to a Sandbox environment for fuller end to end testing, please get in touch via our [contact form](https://isometric.com/get-in-touch) selecting “MRV Partner” as the organization type.

## Can I use my own internally-developed dMRV system?

Yes, many projects develop their own in-house automated reporting systems to submit some or all of their data for Verification. Isometric and the VVB will review the system's robustness as part of pre-screen and the Validation process.
